The NY SPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from Municipal Separate Stormwater Sewer Systems (GP-0-08-002) requires operators of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4s) to develop, implement, and enforce a Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants from storm sewer systems. Go to the MS4 Permit page to learn more about the MS4 Permit and the requirements for SWMPs.
